Women leaders from education, politics, business, and non-profit organizations in Iowa will gather to discuss and develop strategies for building women's leadership in the state. Attorney Angela Oh, an expert on race, law, and leadership, will be the keynote speaker. Following her 1:30 p.m. presentation, she will be joined by prominent Iowa women leaders for a panel discussion on leadership. The summit will also include breakout sessions focused on how to advance women in leadership positions in the state and will conclude with a networking reception. Students, faculty, and staff from institutions of higher education are invited to register as are those interested in women's leadership roles in politics, business, non-profit and community organizations.
Participants will have a choice from four break-out sessions - Women in Business, Women in Science, Women in Education and Women in Politics/Public Service. Please indicate your preference during registration.
There is no registration fee, but all participants must be
